On the wild granite coast of Torndirrup National Park, The Gap is a sheer-walled channel where the Southern Ocean surges between towering rock walls, sending spray high into the air. A short walk away, the Natural Bridge is a broad granite platform arching over the sea, worn smooth by millennia of wave action. Together they form one of Western Australia's most dramatic coastal spectacles.

A major infrastructure upgrade has added state-of-the-art viewing platforms, additional car parking, accessible toilets, and improved pathways, making the site more accessible while preserving its raw character. The exposed granite walls and the sheer force of the swell below are a powerful reminder of just how unforgiving this coastline can be, and warning signs are taken seriously.

The park also encompasses Jimmy Newhills Harbour, Salmon Holes, and the historic Princess Royal Fortress, giving visitors plenty of reason to spend a full day exploring the peninsula. Entry is by vehicle pass, and a Parks and Wildlife pass covering multiple WA parks can save money for those visiting more than one park in the region.
