SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast in Mooloolaba is the region's premier aquarium experience, putting visitors face to face with thousands of marine creatures across a series of immersive themed zones. The aquarium is structured around Queensland's marine ecosystems, from shallow coral reef habitats filled with tropical fish to open-ocean displays housing grey nurse sharks and giant rays. The penguin exhibit remains the aquarium's most popular draw, with penguin presentations running several times daily. Seasonal school holiday programs add extra encounters and behind-the-scenes tours.
