The Scenic Rim Farm Shop and Cafe sits at Kents Lagoon, an easy drive from Boonah on the western flank of the Scenic Rim. Open Thursday to Sunday, it brings together a working farm, a relaxed licensed cafe, a flower farm with cutting fields, and a boutique. It is the kind of place where you can buy a bunch of flowers grown metres away, eat a breakfast made from eggs laid that morning, and spot baby chickens in the yard.
The cafe serves breakfast and lunch, with locally roasted coffee available throughout the day. The menu leans into whatever is at peak season on the farm and from neighbouring producers, expect seasonal fruit, artisan preserves, and freshly baked goods. The farm shop stocks a curated range of Scenic Rim produce, including honey, olive oil, jams, and specialty pantry items.
The flower fields are a highlight in their own right, with cutting sessions available on selected days that let visitors harvest their own bunches to take home. The broader property has a relaxed family feel, with open lawns and the novelty of being surrounded by working farmland.
Kents Lagoon is well placed as a stop on a Scenic Rim loop, sitting roughly between the Boonah township and Beaudesert, convenient when combining a visit to Kooroomba Vineyard, Lake Moogerah, or the Moogerah Peaks walking tracks on the same day.
