Ocean Park Aquarium sits 8 kilometres south of Denham on the edge of the Shark Bay World Heritage Area, bringing the remarkable marine life of the region up close in a series of purpose-built tanks and open lagoons. Guided tours led by marine biologists and ocean educators run continuously throughout the day, covering everything from stingrays and moray eels to multiple species of sharks found in the bay.

The centrepiece of the aquarium is the Shark Lagoon, a large tank housing kingfish, trevally, estuary cod, sandbar sharks, sicklefin lemon sharks, and tiger sharks. Sharks are publicly fed several times daily, giving visitors a front-row view of feeding behaviour without any diving equipment. Other displays feature coralfish, lionfish, stonefish, sea snakes, octopus, and crustaceans drawn from the local ecosystem.

The aquarium also functions as a conservation facility, providing rehabilitation for loggerhead turtles. Founded in 1999, it welcomes tens of thousands of visitors annually and has received recognition for its educational programmes and environmental practices. Tours run for 45 to 60 minutes.

Ocean Park is open seven days a week and closed only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. An on-site restaurant offers views over the bay. All vehicle types can access the sealed entrance road. The facility is a good base for learning about Shark Bay's marine environment before or after visiting the wild sites of the World Heritage Area.
