Jervis Bay Wild Dolphin and Whale Cruises

Dolphin cruises run year-round, seven days a week including public holidays, with two departures daily. Each cruise lasts approximately 90 minutes and ventures into the marine park where the dolphins are known to ride the bow wave of the vessel. In summer, a boom-netting add-on lets passengers trail through the water behind the boat, a firm favourite with children and teenagers.

Whale watching cruises operate from mid-May to mid-November, following the humpback migration route. The bay's position as a sheltered anchorage means whales often linger here longer than they do at open-coast viewing points, giving passengers extended, close encounters. The cruises also pass significant bird life including gannets, shearwaters, and sea eagles.
